Scott graduated from U of T in 1971 and was offered a postion by his insurance agent, Eldon Smith, as a customer service rep. Eldon Smith Insurance became Smith and Fraser Insurance Limited in 1984, and Brokerforce Insurance Inc. in 1998. Scott has served on the board of his local church for many years, and has lead and participated in several educational and information seminars relating to insurance and the business community.
